GROUPING COMPOSITIONS
Group Composition
Grouping students has beconme standard practice among K-12 classrooms as teachers have realized that there are academic and social benefits that accrue to students from working with others, sharing ideas, discussing differences, and learning to deal with conflict in ways that are cognitively manageable and socially acceptable (Gillies, 2003a; Gillies & Ashman, 1998).
